Stories in a Seashell
Written by Alex Nogués Otero
Illustrated by Silvia Cabestany
They say that if you hold a seashell to your ear, you will hear the sea. Is it true? A child who walks on the beach tries it out . . . and discovers a whole world inside.
“The wonder of this story rests in its connection to nature and that exquisite moment when a child discovers the beauty in the world around him. A sweet selection for imaginative children who marvel about nature and delight in daydreaming.”
—School Library Journal
“Capture the imaginations of children ages 4 to 8. An impressively original and entertaining tale, Stories in a Seashell is very highly recommended.”
“In Cabestany’s soft artwork of pencil and paint, a dreamy mood takes over the proceedings. A circular figment that should work well as a lullaby.”
